Mailbox Monday – Agatha Raisin, DCI Banks and a Kate Morton book

Happy Monday, fellow bookworms! Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week.

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

This past week I received all my books in Kindle format. After spending the money on a hardcover book a few weeks ago, Kate Morton’s The Forgotten Garden, I found it for only $1.99 on Amazon’s Deal of the Day. I bought the eBook version since it is such a fat book. Easier for me to read and tuck that slender Kindle Paperwhite into my purse.

Also grabbed an Agatha Raisin mystery, Kissing Christmas Goodbye, in Kindle format. Another $1.99 bargain.

Last but not least is one of my favorite series, the DCI Banks books. I bought Cold is the Grave by Peter Robinson. I still need to add my review from the previous DCI Banks mystery but I have started reading this one already.

Reviews upcoming on all books. What did you find in your mailbox last week?

  1. I really want to try the DCI Banks books. They definitely sound like a series I’d enjoy. I loved Forgotten Garden and I think the kindle version is the way too go. I really want to read some of her other books but just haven’t despite hearing fantastic things about them. And Agatha Raisin is always a fun read! Great mailbox this week!
